4th OPEN FESTIVAL

Congratulations for all the participants of the festivals! All the songs were great and you did en excellent job.
The winners of this year are:
Enseñanza Básica: Third place: Colegio Inglés de Purranque, second place: Colegio San Vicente de Paul and first place: Escuela Canadá.
Enseñanza Media: Best intepreter: Colegio Proyección Siglo XXI, third place: Liceo Tomás Burgos, second place: Liceo Fray Pablo de Royo and first place: Instituto Comercial Osorno.

ENGLISH Week!!!

The English week is being carried out from November 11th to 14th. During this week students from several schools and high schools will be presenting their projects and assignments done through the school period. You can enjoy these presentation at Centro Cultural in Osorno.

In addition, the network will celebrate the Fourth Open Festival in which students sing songs in English and show their musical and language abilities.
Good luck for all the participants.

ENGLISH DEBATE

Comercial High School had an important participation in the English Debates this year.

They got fourth place at the National Competition.

Workshops

This year English teachers had to face a new and demanding task: Teacher’s Evaluation. This evaluation consisted on writing a portfolio about our pedagogical work, an interview with a peer-evaluator and a recorded class. As a way to support teachers during this process the Teacher’s Associacion OPEN implemented three workshops. The first workshop was about Good Teaching Framework (Marco para la Buena Enseñanza), the second was dedicated to Planning and the last one to Evaluation.
We would like to thank to Verónica Barría, Janeth Gallardo, Víctor Peña, María Elena Huenchullanca and Lorena Muñoz for the work done during these three workshops.
